Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager who enjoys being at the center of it all-keeping offices running smoothly, teams supported, and processes on track. This role is perfect for a natural leader who thrives on organization, collaboration, and making sure everything (and everyone) has what they need to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Manchester, NH (with some travel to Concord & Portsmouth)

Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday

Pay: $85,000 - $88,000 Yearly

Type: Direct Hire | On-Site


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support administrative teams including Facilities, Reception, Training, and Scanning
  • Ensure proper staffing coverage by supervising and reassigning non-legal staff as needed
  • Manage office space, office moves, and file transfers for incoming and outgoing attorneys
  • Oversee electronic and paper file organization for active and inactive matters
  • Coordinate building maintenance, repairs, and vendor services
  • Manage and negotiate vendor contracts and service agreements
  • Oversee budgets related to office operations, facilities, utilities, and events
  • Handle purchasing of office supplies, furniture, and equipment
  • Oversee copier, phone, mailroom, and scanning operations
  • Coordinate firm events, meetings, and hospitality needs
  • Lead the Events Committee and Safety Committee
  • Administer parking programs, time-off requests, and timecard approvals
  • Work closely with staff, leadership, and management teams
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Experience in an operations or management role with direct reports
  • Strong experience managing people, workflows, and administrative processes
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and follow-up skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage budgets, vendors, and contracts
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership
